Issues with installing under all versions of MS Windows

[Solved] Missing Library

Postby byfield » Fri May 18, 2018 9:32 am

This morning, the Apache Software 4.1.5 (that I love up until now) 'lost' the libraries and all words are now underlined as Spelling issues.
Have re-downloaded the software to no avail.

Many thanks to anyone that can help

Often that situation arises because of over-hasty powering off of the computer before the internal write buffers of the hard drives have been written to disk, so that some housekeeping information is missing. It is best to wait some few seconds until the drives have spun down before cutting the power or closing a laptop lid. Improper closure of OpenOffice, such as caused by a program crash, can also cause such loss of the spellchecker.

The advice given by robleyd in the previous post will cure the immediate problem.
